The most romantic day of the year in China: Qingxiao "Qixi" Festival, or Double Seven Festival. The date is the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, Qixi representing a love story between two star-crossed lovers. The two meet on the Qixi Bridge on the Double Seven Festival every year. Today, it's celebrated by Chinese and Asian couples as a romantic day of love. Much like Valentine's Day Qixi is an exchange of heartfelt sentiments and gifts. In 2024, QIxi Festival is celebrated on August 10th.
